This pie is so moist and flavorful, and you can prepare it one day ahead to save you time and is going to taste delicious, trust us on this one
First, you will need a 9" crust, feel free to follow your favorite crust recipe or you can save time by using a store-bought crust, roll out the dough on a gentle flowered surface to a 12" round, place crust it in the pie plate in a decorative way, let it sit in the fridge while you prepare the filling
This recipe is super easy to follow, but the baking process is a little longer since you will have to bake at two different temperatures. Also, you will have to let it cool after baked, but it will all be worth it when you try the delicious dreamy dessert that you just baked, you will love it
here are the ingredients that you will need for this richly silky smooth spiked pumpkin pie

- 1 9" pie crust
- 2 tablespoons bourbon

take the unbaked pie shell out of the fridge and fill it in with the pie mixture that you just made
Brush the crust with egg to give it a nice golden color
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce it to 350 degrees and bake for another 50 minutes or until the edges are ready and the center is almost ready (still a little soft from the middle)
